Week Ending 30th January 2011

Time out there: 21.5 hours; Mileage for the week: 370.5km

 A solid week of training. Managed to get in some intense swim sessions, and some decent faster bike sessions. Slowly building up the running - need to get to about 8 hours before I leave for Moab.

 

Week Ending 23rd January 2011

Time out there: 20.5 hours; Mileage for the week: 357km

Third week of training. Starting to get some consistency. It was a very wet week, with Saturday's weather hampering a quality session.

Second week and starting to feel more human after all the travel. Haven't quite got my head around the next 49 weeks of training, but no doubt as the weeks continue and I get back up to speed, things will start to come good.

 

Week Ending 9th January 2011

This was my first week back of training after Ultraman. I plan to ease into it, although from Monday there is 11 weeks to Moab, which doesn't leave much time for training to run 100miles.

This was my final taper week before Ultraman. For the next month at least, there will be no further entries to the training diary. It is time for a break.
